Inocciduous
This celestial adjective is semi-misleading, given the doubled-diptych presented alongside it. We don't use it anymore, we hardly have any need, but it is a brightly coated and multi faceted word that can, at times, be pinned to people if they are of a particularly dazzling variety. The word inocciduous means "never setting" in regards to the stars in space, and the image created upon imagining the definition fits these two in the most wonderful way. Friends are stars that never set, never dim, never fail - at times the world is pointed towards the sun and while we can't see the stars, we know they are there, behind us and waiting to shine all their many little points of light at us once the world brings us back around to them.
