Everyone needs a bit of vague fun, some sort of unknown to examine and imagine, a void to fill with our temporary hopes. Recently a wonderful one was dropped right into my lap by way of a strange email in my personal, and quite private, inbox. The name, of course, was not familiar but not in the way "Bob Smith" is unfamiliar -- this name is not even a name really at all which makes it doubly confusing. What follows below are the letters, verbatim, and in chronological order. Above is a photo that was attached with one of the letters, which to me seems to be quite a wonderful puzzlepiece and grows with wonder each time I try to find a place to fit it in. There are hints within the email that I am sure point to the source, but isn't it self-centered to insert yourself into such a thing? Seeing one's self in what could be entirely mistaken places is, I think, close enough to vanity than I like to tread. Besides, trying to solve the riddle might be fun, but having the unexplained problem of the riddle is where the real pleasure stems from. And for that I say: Thank you for providing me with a bit of mytery whoever you are.
